Old Towne Orange Engagement // Tram and Jason

Tram and Jason had their first date at Provisions in Old Towne Orange, which made this area the perfect spot for their engagement! We wanted to recreate their first coffee date, but unfortunately they don’t serve coffee anymore. It didn’t stop us from grabbing some shots at the table where they sat though ;)

I loved strolling the streets of Old Towne Orange and getting to know Tram and Jason. There was so much texture and the sunset shining in between brick buildings, giving them that beautiful glow, was just *chef’s kiss*. Can’t wait to capture more magic at their wedding next year!

LA Arboretum Summer Maternity Session // Amanda and Jeff

It was the perfect day for Amanda’s maternity session at the LA Arboretum! We found some trees in bloom that matched her outfit and the gardens just agreed with her! Can we just take a moment to admire her outfit? She was glowing, and the light lilac color made her stand out without being too loud. Really the perfect dress for her session.

There are a lot of reasons why I would recommend doing your maternity and/or family session at the arboretum:
1. There are so many different backdrops that change seasonally. So really, it’s pretty all-year round.
2. If you have little ones, they can run around and we can grab some great candids!
3. You can stay after your session and enjoy the gardens. It’s a win-win!

The first time we met Cassandra and Eugene, our jaws dropped. First of all, they’re incredibly nice and bubbly. Second of all, they’re gorgeous humans. And third, they’re perfect together. From their first look to their bride & groom portraits, they made everything a breeze. They have what we like to call an effortless kind of love. Loving came so naturally to them, and all that showed throughout their day.

Bright and Ethereal Wedding at the French Estate // Donna and Roger

On a beautiful spring/SoCal summer day, Donna and Roger tied the knot at The French Estate in Santa Ana, CA. It was nothing short of beautiful. The locations, color palettes, and decor that Donna and her sisters DIYed were picture perfect! This is a wedding that I absolutely LOVE looking back at and adore.

You know when you meet people for the first time and you know you just click? That’s how I felt with Donna and Roger. From meeting at a cafe prior to booking, strolling around the forest for their engagement session, having me photograph one of her sister’s wedding portraits, to finally photographing their wedding - it was all good vibes! I hope you feel everything as you scroll through these photos as I do ♡

Train Station Family Session in Claremont Depot // Morelos Family

Claremont, CA

The Morelos Family is awesome! I met them in the beginning of 2021 when I photographed their family session. Embarrassing story for you: I thought Dennis had another name so I kept calling him by a different name throughout the shoot and he didn’t say anything! Finally, towards the end, Myla told me his name is actually Dennis. I was so embarrassed haha. I asked him why he didn’t correct me and he just laughed and said he thought it was funny! I’m glad that was all sorted out. Thanks for hiring me again a couple months later for your holiday photos, regardless of my name mistake! I made sure not to repeat it this time around!

I love how Myla was crazy about this location! We were thinking of doing this session at the Claremont colleges, but after some permit-related issues, I suggested this spot. She was super excited about it because she had always wanted to have photos done by the train tracks! It was meant to be. And it’s always extra cute when the architecture gives off some European vibes.

Romantic Treelined Wedding at The 1909 // Melissa and Lawrence

I remember this October 2020 season like it was just yesterday. We had 4 weddings and 1 grad session back to back on the week of October 18. Out of the 4 weddings, 2 of them had their original venue back out less than 2 weeks before their wedding day. As if planning a wedding wasn’t stressful enough, try planning a wedding during the pandemic.

But with all the craziness, came this wonderful and magical day! The 1909 was the perfect venue for Melissa and Lawrence. The trees surrounding this canyon venue just emanated and elevated all the love that everyone brought to celebrate this couple. We seriously get all the feels every time we look at this wedding!

Sunny Adventure Engagement in Glamis Sand Dunes // Nicole and Ray

Glamis, CA

The Glamis/Imperial Sand Dunes is probably one of our favorite spots here in California! I can’t get over how amazing it is that this exists just 3 hours away from Los Angeles. It’s like being in another country without having to leave.

Ray and Nicole were the first couple we got to photograph at the dunes, and they were just one of a kind! We met up at 9am in the morning and it’s like we all fell in love and played in the sand til the sun was too high up that the light wasn’t great anymore. But what a morning! Can’t thank them enough for meeting up and adventuring with us, all while looking fabulous.

P.S. Isn’t Nicole just the M-A-S-T-E-R of skirt tossing so it looks all flawless and flowy?! Truly unmatched!
