If there was one word I would use to describe my experience working with Jasmine and Ray, it would be: excitement. She reached out to me in January, the month where I thought no one wanted to leave their homes in California because it was winter and “too cold”, so obviously I was excited to go out and shoot! They wanted their session to be at the beach so we went to this gem of a location called Little Corona del Mar. With beautiful rock formations, tide pools, and overcast skies, it was a perfect time for an engagement session.
The proposal was UNREAL you guys! They were on a yacht when this plane flew by with a banner saying “Yasmina, I love you! Will you marry me?” I wish I was there to capture the moment, but at least I got to spend some time getting to know them and laughing through our session. They were so much fun to photograph! Not a moment spent without some giggles and playfulness. We shot til blue hour, just in time for a couple more piggy back rides from both of them.
